Location Overview

Kingwood Place is an H-E-B-anchored, mixed-use project to be constructed on a 53.7-acre tract of land located at the southwest corner of Northpark Drive and Eastex Freeway U.S. 59 in Kingwood, Texas. The proposed development includes 143,968 square feet of retail space to be leased, which includes a 102,828 square foot H-E-B store; 6 retail pads, anticipated to be ground leased; and a 10.8 acre parcel, planned for approximately 300 multi-family units.

Commonly referred to as the “Livable Forest,” the city of Kingwood is the largest master-planned community in Harris County located just 25 minutes north of downtown Houston in the piney woods of southeastern Texas. The area is divided into neighborhoods called “villages” where most include a neighborhood pool and playground providing free access for village residents, an elementary school and their own set of village-specific services. Kingwood is home to a strong, growing community of young families with a population of more than 83,000 and an average household income of more than $140,000. The city of Kingwood is located within the greater northeast quadrant of Houston known as Lake Houston which also includes other cities such as Atascocita, Humble, Fall Creek, Summerwood, and portions of Spring.
